Welcome to Hope in a Heartbeat CPR. By accessing our website, booking a class, or using our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. General Information
Hope in a Heartbeat CPR (“we,” “our,” “us”) provides CPR and American Heart Association (AHA) BLS training services. These Terms govern all use of our website and services at www.hopeinaheartbeatcpr.com.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use this website.
2. Class Registration & Payment

All classes must be booked through our website or by contacting us directly.

Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot.

Payments are processed securely through Wix Payments, Stripe, or PayPal.

We do not store or have access to your full payment information.
3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
We understand that plans change. To keep our classes running smoothly:

Rescheduling: Free up to 24 hours before your scheduled class.

Cancellations: Full refund available with 48+ hours’ notice.

Late cancellations (under 48 hours): Eligible for class credit only.

No-shows: Non-refundable, but may be eligible for rescheduling at our discretion.
For group/on-site bookings:

A minimum of 72 hours’ notice is required for cancellation or rescheduling.

Group deposits (if applicable) are non-refundable.
4. Attendance Requirements
To receive an AHA BLS Provider certification, students must:

Attend the entire class
-
Participate in all required skills and assessments
-
Successfully demonstrate CPR and AED skills
Late arrivals may be asked to reschedule.
5. Certification
Upon successful completion, students will receive an official AHA BLS e-card, valid for 2 years.
We are not responsible for delays caused by AHA system outages or email issues on the client’s end.
6. Group/On-Site Training
For group classes:

The client must provide a clean, safe workspace for training.

We bring CPR manikins, AED trainers, and all required equipment.

Parking and access must be available for the instructor.
If the instructor arrives and cannot safely provide training due to the client’s environment, the session may be canceled without refund.
7. Health & Safety
By booking a class, you acknowledge:

CPR practice involves physical activity such as kneeling and performing chest compressions.

You should inform the instructor of any physical limitations before class.

Participation is voluntary, and you may stop at any time.
We are not liable for injuries resulting from improper technique or health conditions not disclosed prior to class.
8. Use of Website
You agree not to:

Copy, distribute, or modify website content without permission

Attempt to disrupt or harm the website’s functionality

Upload malicious code or engage in fraudulent activity
Unauthorized use may result in legal action.
9. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us.

10. Third-Party Services
We may link to external websites (AHA resources, payment processors, etc.).
We are not responsible for the content, policies, or accessibility of third-party sites.
11. Limitation of Liability

Misuse of CPR skills outside of class
Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service.
